The gap
The gap
The Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR) brings nutritious food to income-eligible families on reservations. Federal nutrition materials usually mean clinical photos, dense text and an institutional tone. Where trust in federal messaging isn’t automatic, that look loses people before they read a word.

What we made
Trifold brochures
Posters
Factsheets
Shelf talkers
Magnets and stickers
Event and program signage
Two styles, one system. The illustrated one is bright, with fruits, vegetables and kitchen staples that have personality, made for families and kids. The photographic one uses bold color blocks and the real food the program offers. Local staff pick what fits their community and mix formats without losing the look.

What I did
What I did
I guided the team through both creative directions and led the designers who applied the program’s photography across the materials. I didn’t manage the photoshoot itself.
