The gap
The gap
Identity access management works best when nobody notices it, which is a terrible starting point for a conference video. Okta needed it to feel real and specific to higher education in 60 seconds, on a tight timeline, in an illustration style no one had seen in public yet.

What we made
A 60-second animated hero video
Shorter cutdowns for social
A rewritten, tighter script
Storyboards for every frame
The Sage team learned the new visual language with Okta’s brand team, then cut the original script down to land in 60 seconds. Every frame was storyboarded to move fast enough for a booth and still say enough for a CTO. The hero video was built to be cut into social formats from day one.
